Dear Colleague,
On February 5th, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Toronto Board of Trade, Canada-India Business Council and Indo-Canada Chamber of Commerce, will hold the India Business Forum at the Toronto Board of Trade offices in Toronto.
This event will conclude 5 months of research on the policy inhibitors that need to be changed if Canada and India are to significantly increase our two way trade and investment. It is important to note that input at this conference will be incorporated into the Canadian Chamber's ongoing India advocacy campaign. This campaign will include a widely distributed India strategy document (French and English); presentations to International Trade Canada , Prime Minister's Office (PMO), Privy Council Office (PCO), government officials in many departments and Members of Parliament; and an ongoing campaign to see the recommendations implemented. Minister Emerson, PMO and PCO have all indicated that they are very interested in receiving Chamber's India strategy as soon as it is available.
We are seeking participants who are knowledgeable of the policy and structural barriers that need to be changed in both Canada and India. Their active participation will make a difference both in the Forum and in the Chamber's India advocacy work.
Please see the attached document for more information on confirmed speakers at this highly interactive half-day forum.
