Process
An Additional Opportunity for Members to Participate in the Chamber's Policy
Process
Thursday, March 15, 2007, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce's mid-year policy
discussion takes place via teleconference from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. EST.
As with our mid-year policy discussion with members in the past years, we
are once again planning a policy teleconference for 2007. The purpose of
the session is to discuss current policy priorities as a prelude to the
policy debate at the Canadian Chamber of Commerce Annual General Meeting.
This opportunity affords members an excellent chance to learn and/or gain
valuable insight into the Canadian Chamber of Commerce policy process and
engage in the discussion of topical business issues affecting Canadian
communities from coast-to-coast.
The focus of this year's discussion will be a number of key chamber policy
priorities The subjects to be covered are as follows: Fiscal Policy;
Canada-U.S. Relations; Trade Liberalization; Skills and Energy/Environment.
Initially, we ask that you respond with your intent to participate in this
exchange. Contact Claire Van Allen via e-mail
